hen the electronic parking brake actuator failed to function, a large abnormal sound was generated from the rear part of the vehicle, and the display panel ((P)) continuously flickered. The EPB brake couldn’t be released so the brake system of the vehicle was locked and could not move.

According to our tests, it has been found that most of the electronic parking brake actuator failures were from the internal motor of the electronic parking brake actuator.

You only need to replace the motor as long as it is confirmed that the failure is from the motor. The entire set of the electronic parking brake actuator can be continuously used, which is a cost-saving maintenance method, and deserves to be considered.
