Emergency Parking (Emergency-P) Function:
In emergency situations, such as low voltage in the onboard electrical system or communication failure with the intelligent servo module (A80), the Key-P function can still be executed. In these cases, the emergency motor in the intelligent servo module is powered by N73 and triggers an emergency
Parking function. If the situation of low voltage in the on-board electrical system is eliminated, the emergency parking function will be disabled and the intelligent servo module will return to normal working condition. The emergency parking function sequence can be divided into the following steps: start position function sequence, middle position work sequence, and end position
Cancellation of stop position function sequence and function sequence.
In emergency situations, such as when there is insufficient power in the onboard electrical system, the emergency motor is powered by the onboard electrical system battery (previously G1/4 starting battery before the 2008 facelift) through the control module N73 and rotates the eccentric shaft.
The eccentric axis of rotation presses down on the separation screw of the left half slide. This causes the mechanical connection between the left and right halves of the slide to be alternately severed.
The pre compressed coil spring pushes apart the two half slide seats, and the right half slide seat slides along the screw to the right, pushing the gear range selector lever to position P. The eccentric shaft continues to rotate until the emergency motor is no longer driven. The eccentric axis position sensor records the actual position of the eccentric axis.
If the emergency signal is no longer issued (such as caused by low voltage of the on-board electrical system), the emergency function of the P gear will be disabled.
